One of my favourite places in New York has got to be Central Park. It starts from Manhattan's Fifth Ave and stretches as far as Harlem. It is exactly as how you see it on TV, like in the first Home Alone where McCully Culkin got chased by the robbers into Central Park, the scene in Gossip Girl where Blair and Serena took selfies by the Bethasda Fountain and even from many scenes in Sex in the City where they were having walks in Central Park. Despite the numberof tourist strolling around the park, the ambience was amazing, it was so peaceful and serene, you won't believe that it is possible to have a park right smack in the middle of the bustling city. If you walk along the perimeters of Central Park, you have to stop by the Halal food trucks selling tasty falafels and awesome spicy chicken/lamb kebabs just make sure you ask the main ingredients they use and try not to get any allegic reaction to the ingredients because you do not want to end up developing bad rashes all over your body, like I did. I would have loved to see the park come to live during winter when everything turns white, covered by the snow, having the lakes turn to ice with people ice-skating on it. That would be a wonderful sight.
